Bovis Homes is inviting local residents to view its proposals for the redevelopment of the Penwortham Mills site to the south of Preston city centre.
The site contains the former Vernon Carus mill off Factory Lane and associated land.
The public exhibition will be held at the Vernon Carus Sports Club, Factory lane, Penwortham on Friday 8 February, 10am-6pm and Saturday 9 February, 10am-4pm.

The proposals are for a mixed-use development including new homes, business space, public open space, and new community facilities on the 23 hectare site.
The majority of the site is currently allocated for housing in South Ribble's Local Plan and the development would help meet the shortage of housing in the South Ribble area - including the provision of affordable housing for local people.
It will also create a number of employment opportunities for the local community.
The development will also enable the Vernon Carus Sports Club gain security of tenure on its grounds, opening the door to potential funding from sports bodies and the national lottery needed to update the club's facilities.
David Shard, Regional Managing Director of Bovis Homes, comments: "We want to breathe new life into this disused factory site and provide the right kind of housing, employment and leisure opportunities for local people."
"In order to do this, we want to hear the views of local people and get their feedback on our proposals.
"We hope that this process will enable us to prepare a planning application that will deliver a number of benefits to the local community."
The proposals can also be viewed and feedback given from February 8 by clicking the link below.
The closing date for submissions will be 22 February, to assist in the preparation of a planning application to be submitted to South Ribble Borough Council later in the spring.
Bovis Homes is one of the UK's most successful housebuilders and prides itself on its design and build quality and customer service.

I do not feel that the local residents have been fully consulted or informed about the proposed plans for Penwortham Mills. No-one seems to have any idea as to what is to happen.
