Preston teen arrested after road smash

A teenage driver was arrested earlier today on suspicion of a number of offences after a car collided with a telegraph pole.
The crash, in which a single vehicle was involved, happened at 1.02am on Moss House Lane, Much Hoole.
An 18-year-old male from Preston was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol, aggravated vehicle-taking and driving while disqualified.
Fire crews attended the scene to ensure the telegraph pole was safe and remove the car.
