Man in court accused of killing man outside Preston bar

A man charged with manslaughter following an alleged incident outside a Preston bar has made a brief appearance before Preston Crown Court.
John Wilson, 29, formerly of Riverside, Bamber Bridge, is accused of the unlawful killing of 23-year-old Aaron Emery who died at the Royal Preston Hospital, Fulwood, Preston.
A provisional trial date has been set for November 17.
Wilson was remanded on conditional bail by Judge Anthony Russell QC pending a plea hearing on August 11.
