Injured Preston road smash pensioner dies
9:10am Friday 16th May 2008
A Preston pensioner, who was knocked down in Tithebarn Street on Wednesday morning, has died.
The 73-year-old man, who has not been named by police, was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital suffering serious injuries but died in the early hours of this morning.
The accident happened at around 10.30am and road policing officers are asking anyone who saw the accident or events leading up to the incident to contact them Preston on 01772 209675.
