A delivery driver was assaulted by three youths as he made deliveries in the Avenham area of Preston.
Police said the man was filling out paper work at a side door of his white LDV van when he was given a strong push in the back sending him flying across the floor of the van.
The attack happened after he had delivered a catalogue to a home in Halsbury Street at about 10am on Tuesday, January 3. He was left with a sore back and a grazed leg.
His attackers, three Asian youths aged 17 to 18 years old, escaped with a package.
One of the packages was a box of 12 bottles of wine, the other two were grey plastic bags thought to possibly contain CDs or games.
