The classroom is usually noisy with excitement when police officers deliver the Community Kids Scheme within local school across Lea.
On Thursday is expected to be the noisiest and most exiting yet as TV celebratory weatherman Fred Talbot joins police at Lea to highlight this exciting project talking place across the ward.
Fred Talbot, weatherman and television presenter on Granada television, is joining officers at Lea to deliver the latest presentation of the Community Kids Project at St Andrew's School, Tulketh Road, Preston, at 1.30pm.
The project is designed to promote discussion among youngsters in schools concerning the expected norms of behaviour within society.
The session's aims are to teach the youngsters about respect and good behaviour and the importance of creating a good society, rules and guidance that officers, along with the help and support of Fred, are planning to go through during the afternoon session.
The Community Kids project also provides a great opportunity for local children to meet and become more familiar with their local police teams, making them less afraid to approach local police officers - and on this occasion television weathermen!
