Mobile phone giant Orange has applied to South Ribble Borough Council for permission to build a phone mast on a Penwortham grass verge.

The company is seeking permission to build the 15m high slimline column on a grass verge in Millbrook Way, Penwortham, near Preston.

The plan also includes three antennas and a microwave dish with associated equipment cabinets.

The plan has yet to be considered by the council's planning team.
