A new advice service has been set up to provide free information and support to anyone in South Ribble who feels they have been discriminated against.
The service which has been set up by South Ribble Borough Council and the Preston and Western Lancashire Race Equality Council, gives residents access to confidential advice on discrimination which they may encounter while in the workplace or when receiving goods or services.
Residents will also be entitled to free legal advice and in some cases legal representation if they have been discriminated against on the grounds of gender, race, disability, age, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
For more information about the service, call the Race Equality Council on 01772 906422.
