Sports club submits plans for works

Plans have been submitted to South Ribble Borough Council to build a single storey building at Longton Sports and Social Club, School Lane, Longton, near Preston, to accommodate a captain's/storage cabin.
The proposal, which is expected to be considered by the council's planning committee at a later date, also includes the installation of six lighting columns.
