Lostock Hall policeman denies assaulting wife

A POLICEMAN has pleaded not guilty to assaulting his wife.
Former crime prevention officer PC Andy Liptrott, 47, denied three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm to Karen Liptrott.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between February 18 and March 24 this year.
Liptrott, of Todd Lane, Lostock Hall, was given conditional bail.
He will stand trial in January next year.
