Heard the one about the rocking reverend, the psychiatric nurse, the engineer and the optician with luminous eyes?
It is not a joke, it is members of the rock band Revisit who are set to take the local music circuit by storm.
Bass player Mark Hurlbut is the man most eyes turn to when the band are on stage thanks to his colourful contact lenses.
The optician, who has worked at Preston Optical Centre for the last five years, said: "I was just thinking one night that it would be good to do something different. They are basically normal daily contacts and I just use special dyes to make them glow green.
"It is definitely something that gets attention and people always talk about it in the crowds."
The band in its current form has been together for around six months with the Rev Philip Chew, a vicar in Burnley, on vocals, guitarist Graham Chapel, an engineer, and psychiatric nurse John Mayer on drums.
After playing around with new songs the group are now looking at recording a new song, We're Under Attack, which they are hoping will hit the radio airwaves soon.
Mark added: "We should be recording the song pretty soon and we are in talks about getting it on the radio so we will just have to wait and see.
"We have done a gig in Burnley and we are hopefully going to do some more in the next few weeks including one at the top of Blackpool Tower."
Other upcoming gigs include one at the American base in Harrogate which Mark says is a moral protest.
He said: "We just want to play in different places and places which are a bit unusual. When we get on tour in the next few weeks, we will be looking at organising a gig here in Preston."
