Youngsters at a Preston deaf school 'signed up' to help others as they put up a special performance of the Red Nose day song.

Children at the Royal Cross Primary School for the Deaf, in Elswick Road, Larches, rehearsed for weeks to translate the official song of the event, Make Someone Happy, into sign language.

The kind-hearted kids at the school which takes in pupils from across Lancashire, then gave a special hands-on performance this morning as they showed their commitment to the BBC's fundraising efforts.
