The wonders of Wyre are about to be explored on a national television show.
Gardens at Cobble Hey, the Lancaster Canal at Bilsborrrow and the People's Promenade at Cleveleys all feature in the next two episodes of Go North West, the Granada series that takes a closer look at places of interest in the region.
Programme makers Centini brought a film crew to Wyre last summer and the results can be seen on ITV1 tonight, at 7.30pm, starting with a look around the stunning Cobble Hey gardens at Claughton more than 600 feet above sea level. Viewers will be taken on a tour of the cottage garden, woodland, summer orchard and working farm, all of which is open to the public.
On April 17, comedian and radio presenter Justin Moorhouse is shown introducing his son to the seaside town of Cleveleys where he used to holiday as a child.
En route the pair stop off at the new People's Promenade and the British Legion where Moorhouse says he told his first joke.
In the same programme rambler Pete McGowan takes a walk along the Lancaster Canal at Bilsborrow starting from the canal side village of Guy's Thatched Hamlet, over the Brock Aqueduct and passing through Bilsborrow Hall Farm.
Tom Pridmore, director of leisure services at Wyre Borough Council, says the programme will give viewers throughout the North West a snapshot of the stunning scenery that Wyre can boast about.
He added: "We're also delighted that people will be getting a glimpse of the new-look Cleveleys seafront in the same week that we officially unveil the latest phase of a development that has really captured the public's imagination."
