Police in Garstang are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 66-year-old woman who's been missing since last night.

Beryl Bellamy, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing by her husband.

She was last seen by a neighbour outside her home address at The Toppings at around 8pm last night.

Beryl is described as white, around 5ft 2ins tall and of slight build, wearing a pink cardigan, brown trousers and slippers.

Sergeant David Britton said: "We now have grave concerns for Beryl's safety, particularly in view of her health, and considering the clothing she is wearing and the freezing temperatures overnight.

"We would urge anyone who may have seen Beryl, or have any idea where she may be, to contact us.

Anybody with any information should contact police on 01524 63333.
