Lancaster and Wyre MP Ben Wallace has attempted to put an end to the expenses crisis engulfing Parliament.
Mr Wallace has moved to end the secrecy surrounding MPs claims, and has released detailed information on how he has spent £152,000 of taxpayers' money.
Mr Wallace made his expenses claims available to the Sunday Times newspaper.
The list includes more than 200 claims including how much he spent on a second home in Clapham, south London, and how much he pays his wife, Liza, who is employed as a part-time researcher.
Mr Wallace said: "I am very happy for people to find out whatever they want, and the only way to solve these problems is to have complete transparency.
"This is not top-secret stuff. I am sure some will say that I spent too much or too little on one thing or another, but the point is that it's all here in the open."
