DIAGNOSED with terminal cancer, Justine Hargreaves had to come to terms with the fact she would not see her children grow up.

But, determined to be an ongoing presence in their lives, she drew up a ‘mummy manual’ of advice for them to read after her death.

Justine died on Sunday after a 17-month battle with cervical cancer. She was just 38.

But she has told children Jade, 17, Sam, 10, Nathaniel, nine and six-year-old twins Coral and Crystal to always support each other, give each other hugs and not to worry about making mistakes.

It must have been heartbreaking for her knowing she had just six months to live.

But she battled on and showed amazing spirit to help raise thousands of pounds for the Help Justine campaign, which will help pay towards bringing up the children.

Her devotion to her children really puts everything into perspective.

We often take our busy lives for granted and we should take more time to think of our families and just how precious they really are.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Justine’s family.
