COLNE pro Greg Mail delivered once again as he helped Colne to a 100-run victory of former leaders East Lancs.

The all-rounder from New South Wales, who scored a ton on debut against Accrington last week, smashed the club's highest ever individual total, 189 not out, as Colne piled up 330-6.

And despite a valiant effort by East Lancs, which included a half-century from Phil Bolton, they fell well short of their target.

Enfield took full advantage of East Lancashire's slip to surge to the top of the table on Saturday night as they pulled off a great win over champions Burnley.

Jonathan Clare and Vishal Tripathi both scored half-centuries as Burnley racked up 229-7.

But a superb 116 from Enfield skipper Adam Bracewell led his side to victory at Dill Hall Lane.

Former England star Chris Lewis helped Rawtenstall to maximum points over Church.

The former Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Surrey man scored 58 not out as Rawtenstall easily knocked off Church's 110 all out after Peter Seal's five-wicket haul and Keith Roscoe snared three victims.

Bacup made short work of Nelson thanks to an inspired spell by Terry Lord. The veteran seamer took 5-12, with son Ben taking 2-9, as Nelson were skittled for just 55 and Bacup made short work of the chase.

Haslingden also had a short day as they beat Accrington by nine wickets at Bent Gate.

Haslingden pro took 4-13 as Accrington slumped to a disappointing 89 all out with only Graeme Sneddon (28) and Stuart Crabtree (26) making any real impression.

And Andy Clough (35 not out) and Graham Knowles (33) put on 64 for the first wicket as Haslingden eased home.

Sunil Joshi put in a great all-round performance as Ramsbottom eased to victory over Lowerhouse at Liverpool Road.

With the ball, the Indian pro took 4-65 from his 25 overs as Lowerhouse made 177-8.

And then Joshi, who played 15 Tests for India, scored an unbeaten 48 to see Ramsbottom home to a five-wicket win.

Rishton continued their good start to the season with a good win against Todmorden at Blackburn Road.

Professional Saeed Anwar Jnr, John Seedle and Matt Leathert all got into the 30s to give Rishton a competitive 189-9.

And then Anwar spun his team to a comfortable win as he took 6-42 to give his side maximum points.

All Sunday's fixtures were washed out.
