BLACKBURN Rovers boss Paul Lambert will give captain Grant Hanley and prospective home debutant Danny Graham until the ‘last minute’ to prove their fitness for tomorrow’s home clash with Fulham.

Centre-back Hanley and new striker Graham were ruled out of Saturday’s 2-0 home loss to Hull City with a sore shoulder and a tight hamstring respectively.

And, while midfielder Hope Akpan has recovered from the bug that forced him to pull out of the starting line-up against Hull half-an-hour before kick-off, there are still doubts over the key duo even though they have done ‘little bits’ of training today.

“Hope trained this morning but we’ll have to wait to the last minute to see how Grant and Danny are,” said Lambert, who is still without Danny Guthrie, Lee Williamson, Jason Lowe and Nathan Delfouneso.

“When people go out of your side who are probably unsung you notice when they are not playing.

“Grant has been in really good form and in the short time that he’s been here Danny has been excellent.”
