Preston North End defender Youl Mawene has been questioned by police following a domestic disturbance at his home in Lytham. Officers were called to an address in West Bank Avenue shortly before 7pm last night and arrested the star on suspicion of assaulting his partner. Mawene signed for PNE from Derby County in 2004 and has made more than 75 appearances for the club.
