Preston North End have revealed the upper tier design of the new Invincibles Pavilion stand at their Deepdale stadium.

The centrepiece of the fascia boards above the upper tier will be a two metre diameter clock, which will replicate the look of the famous clock in the old Pavilion Stand, and will sit alongside an inscription reading ‘Deepdale Preston’.

The remainder of the space above the upper tier, either side of the timepiece and ‘Deepdale Preston’ inscription, will be utilised to promote The New Football Pools, the new brand name for Littlewoods, Vernons and Zetters Football Pools.

The design was instigated by the club, in conjunction with new commercial partners Sportech PLC, owner and operator of The New Football Pools, and the club’s new official Pools partner and official ‘Spot the Ball’ partner.

Preston North End chairman Derek Shaw said: “We are delighted to welcome The New Football Pools as our latest commercial partner.

“Their valued contribution has made a significant contribution to the look of the new Invincibles Pavilion, allowing us to create a design for the top of the stand which compliments our rich heritage and also allows the club to benefit commercially.

"We look forward to a long and successful partnership with The New Football Pools, and hope that we will be able to announce more exciting initiatives for our supporters throughout the duration of this new arrangement.”

Ian Penrose, chief executive of Sportech PLC, said: “As the oldest football gaming business in the world, embarking on a dynamic relaunch and repositioning here in the UK and overseas, the commercial partnership with Derek and the team at Preston North End is a natural one.

ranging from a few pounds up to the mouth-watering £3m Top Prize.

“The new Invincibles Pavilion looks fantastic within the magnificently reconstructed Deepdale. I hope that fans will enjoy the completed stadium and watch football that builds upon the improvement made in the second half of last season.”
