LANCASHIRE made it three wins out of three in this year’s Twenty20 as they eased to a five-wicket win over old foes Yorkshire at Headingley on Friday night.
Jacques Rudolph (38) was the main man as the home side made 111-8, having slumped from a far more promising 68-2.
The visitors were cruising in reply, until the introduction of spinners David Wainwright and Adil Rashid, who took three wickets between them.
But Steven Croft (40no) saw his side home on 112-5 with five balls to spare.
The victory means Lancashire continue their 100 per cent record in this season’s competition, having beaten Yorkshire at Old Trafford on Tuesday and also claimed a home win over Nottinghamshire on Thursday.
