BURNLEY striker Chris Iwelumo continued his Turf Moor scoring streak last night to round the 3-0 win over Barnsley off with his eighth of the season – all at home.

Of Iwelumo, who now has eight goals in six home games, manager Brian Laws said: “He loves Turf Moor for some reason.

“He's got an incredible scoring ratio at home. We just need to get him scoring away from home.

“But we'll take that.

“We're spreading the goals around as well.

“From all aspects it's very pleasing, and even more so the fact that we've got another clean sheet.

“We did the right things at the right time – the critical time as well – so I was very pleased.

"The first goal was always going to be key and I thought once we got that we started to open them up even more and the performance in the second half was sublime.

“You couldn't ask for a better performance than that.”
