NATHAN Peel scored two tries, two conversions and a penalty as Clitheroe enjoyed home comforts to beat Preston Grasshoppers.
It was only the third time this season Clitheroe had played on their Littlemoor pitch and they made full use of the perfect conditions.
Rigby raced in for the game’s opening try which Peel converted before the fly-half scored and added the extras himself as the Maroon and Golds raced to a 17-0 lead.
Preston got on the scoreboard with a penalty but a second Peel try sealed victory.
