Grand National-winning jockey Robbie Power believes Oscars Well represents his best chance of success in the Cheltenham Festival.

Power, who took the Aintree marathon on Silver Birch in 2007, is looking to the Jessica Harrington-trained gelding to give him success at National Hunt's premier meeting.

The six-year-old goes to Prestbury Park as a leading fancy for Wednesday's Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle on the back of Grade One wins at Navan and in the Deloitte at Leopardstown.

"We weren't surprised the last day. We've always thought an awful lot of him at home and thought he was capable of that," Power told At The Races.

"It was such a good race at Leopardstown that it was hard to go into it with confidence, but we were hopeful he would go very close.

"They went a good gallop and he won very impressively in the end and I thought it rode a good race.

"Oscars Well is my probably best chance. He's done nothing but improve all winter and being by Oscar, I'm fully convinced that when he gets better ground, he'll improve again."

Power is also expecting a good run from Bostons Angel in the RSA Chase the same day.

Also trained by Harrington, Bostons Angel has won two Grade Ones at Leopardstown, the Fort Leney Novice Chase and the Dr P J Moriarty.

"The RSA will suit him down to the ground. He's a tough horse and he ticks a lot of the boxes in that race. They go quick which will suit him," Power continued.

"He's a big price at 16-1. He's a dual Grade One winner and with a bit of luck on his side he'll definitely be in the money.

"They always go a proper gallop and there's no hiding place in the race. You've got to jump and travel and you have to really stay. He'll do all three of them, hopefully."

Power feels the Harrington-trained Roberto Goldback has solid each-way claims in the Ryanair Chase on Thursday.

"He's been in running on ground he doesn't like all year," he added.

"He ran on decent ground in Fairyhouse and was third, beaten a length and a half, in the John Durkan.

"He'll love the ground and the Ryanair is starting to cut up a little bit so I think he has got a good each-way chance."
