THE FA Cup semi-finals have taken shape with a Manchester derby and Bolton v Stoke.

They should be two decent games - but I just hope that Wembley stadium is empty.

To take the semi-finals to the national stadium in London is just crazy; it is nothing but a drain on the pockets of the fans.

These are northern teams with northern fans - and to make them travel all the way to the smoke is crazy.

The FA just wants to cash in on football fans. They have done for years and will continue to do so as long as mugs part with their hard-earned to to to the game.

There are also reports that the Manchester derby will cost £1m to police. It shouldn't but that's the cost. Who will foot the bill?

The taxpayers can't afford that bill so the FA or the clubs should dig deep. It's madness.

Boycott the match fans. Stay away. A load of empty seats may just convince the powers that be to start thinking about the fans.

It would make a change.

* Wales scored a try against Ireland on Saturday with the wrong ball. It is the most basic of basic errors from the officials.

It was just bizarre. But everyone has taken the decision on the chin.

Can you imagine the outcry if that had happened to a Premier League football team?
