THE chairman of the Clarets Trust has called on Burnley supporters groups to work together to strengthen the fans’ position at the club.
Peter Pike said it was essential fans were united.
He said: “We believe there should be a bigger input from the fans and supporters into our football clubs.
“The trust really does need to be working together with other supporters clubs and Clarets fans to put forward the views of those who put their hard-earned money into the club.
“We have a good relationship with BFC but we need to build on that partnership with the club and other supporters clubs.”
The Trust recently increased its shareholding in the club to 140 shares and plans to continue investing in shares to give them a greater say in how the club is run.
