MARTIN Olsson qualified for Euro 2012 and two of his Blackburn Rovers team-mates found the net on an action-packed night of international fixtures.

Olsson played the full 90 minutes in Sweden's 3-2 home win over the Netherlands as they reach next summer's finals by virtue of having the best runners up record across the nine qualification groups. It will be the 23-year-old's first major tournament.

Fellow Rover David Goodwillie scored his first goal for Scotland from the penalty spot after coming on as a substitute in their 3-1 loss in Spain, which saw Craig Levein's side miss out on the play-offs to the Czech Republic. Grant Hanley was not involved in the 18 for the game.

Morten Gamst Pedersen netted Norway's first goal in their 3-1 home win against Cyprus but the result was too late to secure a play-off place, which went to Portugal.

Radosav Petrovic also missed out on Euro 2012 with Serbia after starting in their 1-0 defeat in Slovenia, which saw them lose out on a play-off spot to Estonia.

Simon Vukcevic was not involved in Montenegro's 2-0 loss in Switzerland, with his country having already secured their place in next month's play-offs.

Keith Andrews, currently on loan at Ipswich, started for the Republic of Ireland as they made the play-offs with a 2-1 home win over Armenia.

Former Rovers defender Lars Jacobsen helped Denmark confirm their qualification for Euro 2012.
