Blackburn Rovers striker David Goodwillie scored Scotland’s consolation last night as they lost 3-1 to Spain to end their hopes of qualifying for Euro 2012.
Goodwillie, who was a substitute, scored from the penalty spot for his first international goal.
Six minutes later Goodwillie had a great chance to set up an exciting finish but his shot went over the bar.
