Nelson boss Paul Paynter admits his side are on a steep learning curve this season, having just returned to the league.
But he is adamant they have the ability to improve recent form.
Ahead of tonight's game against AFC Darwen, he said: “We are looking forward to the game.
"We lost to them 2-1 at their place due to two late goals and we will be looking to put things right at our place.
“It might take us until Christmas before we really find our feet, as we are still very naive.
"But we have to believe we can get something from this game against a young team.”
