PADIHAM were without a game at the weekend or in midweek, yet the Storks will be glad for a breather having fulfilled the first third of their North West Counties Premier Division fixtures by the end of September.
The Arbories club claim to have been the first non-league club in England to reach the 14-league game mark this season.
Further to that, Padiham had crammed in an incredible 23 matches at the Arbories since the ground was opened for playing in the first week of August.
After the weekend’s postponement at Alsager Town, Padiham are back in action on Saturday as they host Maine Road.
