CLITHEROE striker Simon Garner is set to have talks with the club about a possible move to Stalybridge Celtic this weekend.
But chairman Carl Garner said: "The manager has made it clear to Simon that he wants him to stay."
Garner is suspended for tomorrow's match at Alsager Town, new manager Chris Stammer's first as the permanent boss, along with Jason Jones.
Goalkeeper Peter Collinge returns from Bury and James Dean is also in the squad. There will be a late fitness test for Yakoob Khan.
