Rovers Ladies recorded their second successive 1-1 draw, coming from behind to pick up a point at home to Leicester.

Both sides created chances, with Rovers missing two one-on-ones and forcing the Leicester keeper to make some good saves – most notably a back post effort when Rovers looked odds on to score.

Leicester created chances of their own and after Rovers gave away possession, Leicester hit the bar and forward Isobella Hayes followed in the rebound to give the visitors a half-time lead.

Scott Rogers’ side came out the livelier of the two teams after the break, however Leicester again rattled the woodwork from distance.

Rovers responded well and following a change in shape, they found themselves level.

The ball was whipped in by Danielle Sheen for Lagan Makin to get across her defender and slot home.

It was the young striker’s second goal in as many games since her return to the club.

In an end-to-end finale, both teams went for the winner, but had to settle for a draw.
