BARNOLDSWICK Town joint manager Ben Hall admits his Barlick outfit face the toughest of tests in the FA Vase second round when North East giants Spennymoor roll into the Silentnight Stadium.

It is the hardest of all ties for Barlick – and their task is even harder as they will be missing a host of regulars.

“We are struggling for numbers, that’s for sure,” said Hall.

“We have half a dozen out and we are sweating on one or two more.

"It’s not ideal at all, but whoever we put out there is more than capable of playing at this level so we won’t be using missing players as an excuse.”
