MARTIN Olsson has turned his focus to Blackburn Rovers’ crunch clash at Wigan Athletic on Saturday after admitting that appearing at Wembley for Sweden was ‘a dream come true’.

Olsson overcame an ankle injury to play all 90 minutes for Sweden in their 1-0 friendly loss to England on Tuesday and now hopes he can help Rovers to secure a result at the DW Stadium in the battle of the Premier League’s bottom two clubs.

“I was very excited and it is a dream that has come true,” said Olsson about his appearance at Wembley.

“To play for my country on such a famous stage, it is unbelievable.

“My ankle had been a problem, but I had an injection and it feels better now.

“I was a bit doubtful for the England game as I hadn’t trained in the week following the Chelsea game, but there was no way I was going to miss the match.

“It felt good afterwards, I was a bit tired but I am okay. You can’t say no to playing at Wembley.

“We (Blackburn) have now got a big game, we’ve got to win it and get the three points. That is all that matters.”

Simon Vukcevic missed out on qualification for Euro 2012 as Montenegro suffered a 1-0 home loss to Czech Republic to go out 3-0 on aggregate.

Radosav Petrovic appeared as a substitute for Serbia in a 2-0 friendly loss in Honduras.
