Burnley will hold a minute’s applause ahead of kick-off against Leeds United tomorrow (12.45pm) in honour of former manager Jimmy Adamson.
The Clarets legend, who died last week aged 82, managed Leeds United after leaving Turf Moor in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
Eddie Howe said he had been touched by the tributes to Adamson, whose funeral took place on Monday.
Howe said: “His funeral was a really sad occasion but an honour to attend. It just made me realise what a legend he is here and what he did for the club,” he said.
“Reading everything about him, what he achieved for this club – not only that but the manner in which he did it and the way he coached - I've heard some fantastic stories about him.”
