Lancashire match abandoned

Due to very heavy overnight rain and an outfield that resembles a swimming pool this morning, play between Lancashire CCC and Durham UCCE at the Racecourse has already been abandoned for the day.
Meanwhile, the ECB have confirmed that Francois Du Plessis is able to play for Lancashire this season and weather permitting will make his county debut tomorrow when play will hopefully get underway in this fixture.
