Preston North End have sold out of all of their home allocation for the FA Cup Third Round tie against Liverpool on Saturday January 3rd.
Deepdale's capacity is 23,404 which means that if, as expected, Liverpool sell all of their allocation in the Bill Shankly Kop then the ground will be set for its biggest crowd in more than 36 years.
North End saw 37,052 fans visit Deepdale for an FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Manchester United on February 5th 1972 and the game on January 3rd will be the biggest since that day.
Fans who missed out on the Liverpool fixture can still purchase tickets for the big Championship clashes against Derby County on Boxing Day and Burnley on January 17th.
Tickets are available online at MyPNE.Com and through the ticket office, the club are now accepting new registrations on their database.
