An injury-time goal from Richard Chaplow ensured a point for Preston at Plymouth Argyle after they had gone two goals down with 20 minutes to play.
Jamie Mackie had opened the scoring for the home side with a deflected shot from well outside the area.
Plymouth doubled their lead with a Paul Wotton penalty, after Krisztian Timar has been fouled in the box.
But Neil Mellor struck from eight yards before Chaplow also pounced from close range in the dying stages.
