Preston North End can reveal that PNE FC will be the design that adorns the new Invincibles Pavilion when the stand opens for business in August.

Deepdale currently has images of former PNE legends Sir Tom Finney, Alan Kelly Snr and Billy Shankly on the exisiting stands.

The design of the fourth and final stand will incorporate the name of the club.

PNE chairman Derek Shaw said: "We will be having 'PNE FC' in the seats. We looked at various options, but we decided that we wanted to use our own identity.

"We think that this completes the ground nicely and is a real focal point, clearly identifying that you are at Deepdale, the home of Preston North End."

The build is on schedule to open for the first home game of the 2008/09 season and the artist's impression, from architects FWP shows, shows how the new stand will look like with the seating in place.

The seats will be put in place during the off season, ready for supporters to take their places for the first time when Alan Irvine's team return to action in August.

Unless of course they are from Burnley and then someone else will have to read it for them.
