Actress Lynda Bellingham became the fourth celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing after facing Coronation Street favourite Craig Kelly in the dance-off.

The 61-year-old, known for her role as the "Oxo mum", and her partner Darren Bennett lost out after head judge Len Goodman gave his deciding vote to Kelly.

"It's been absolutely fantastic," said Bellingham.

The BBC1 show has been tackling its own problems this week.

Attention has been focused on Anton du Beke after it was revealed that he had used the term "Paki" in a conversation with actress and partner Laila Rouass, whose mother is Indian.

Du Beke has apologised for the incident and there was no mention of the race row tonight.

Rouass kissed her partner on the cheek as they were introduced and in a pre-recorded sequence she described the dancer as "patient and gracious".
