Yep, it's chaos out there.

Road works on Lea Road started today, Monday 6 August and yes it is chaos.

It seems access from Blackpool Road into Lea Road is restricted.

There are traffic lights and one way passing at Leyland Bridge (over the Ribble Link) and one way up the hill past Harwoods.

Traffic on Ainsdale Drive is desperate as contractors vehicles are everywhere and although it is two way, there is only room from cars on one side of the road. Anyone who knows it locally understands how parked cars make this awkward at the best of times, i.e two cars can't drive down the road at the same time! Wait until rush hour!
